rePAREMOS poses the question of repair and reuse in the context of Puerto Rico. The exhibition considers repair/reuse as a practice that destabilizes the consumerist ideology of capitalism; and as a component for redefining sociopolitical imaginaries of use and consumption. The exhibit featured objects that reached their end of life and where modified to satisfy a different need. It also included an interactive map of repair shops in the area of Santurce which was later digitized. In parallel to the exhibit we ran repair workshops with expert practitioners that where open to the public.
